It's sad how many children go thru the worst things of their life when they go home after school. Many friends of mine used to wish that the day in school would go on forever, so they don't have to go home and get spanked by their maniac parents. I wonder what makes them spank the ones they're supposed to respect with their whole heart and soul?

I'm also a child, who had a history like that. My father had problems with his mental health, I remember how he said that he knows people from FBI and he knows everything what is going on in the White House right now. Actually he was working in the army, but I knew there was no way to get the secret files of the United States' government. He just lied to himself and believed everything, it was kinda living in the mist.

When I went home, he always did things that I didn't like at all. He used to take a kettle and put in everything that we had in a fridge, plus every spice he found from the cabinet - and if I didn't eat that mess, I usually got a black eye or something else.

Other things in his whole sickness were making me read the whole English dictionary including over 60 000 words. I had a deadline and he asked me some words from the book and if I didn't know.. you maybe guess what happened.
He hated my friends and said to one of them that if she "doesn't keep her ugly face away from here, she'll live without her teeth." Sometimes I thought he was working and came home with a friend - and he was barenaked on the sofa, drinking beer and watching ice hockey. I was so ashamed, so were my friends.
He got very supersized, when he ate a lunch everyday in McDonald's and he blamed me. He thought that I made him stressed and stress makes him get fat.

My room was a dump to him. He used to throw trash straight inside from the door and close it, if I complained... well.
All this was like being in a jailhouse without making a crime. He made me hurt myself, leave my friends and lose my weight, he made me sick. So he did to my mom.

It's long time ago when I said to my mom, that I do not have a father that I like and I never ever want a father. I said that I want to get away from here, I said I don't need a father to show what is a man - what is being a man. He wasn't a man at all, he was a crazy creature from under my bed. I can't ever be thankful to a man, who made me so upset, but I'm thankful to myself of being so strong that I stood up and made my mother leave him.
I grew inside and got more powerful, feeling that I'm finally the master of my own life. I'm happy that mom doesn't suffer anymore and we are living the best years of our life. We've become something.

I know that there's many young people in the world, who have gone thru the worst in their own family - being spanked and hated. I wanted to tell you, that you are not alone and there's always a light in the end of the black tunnel. You just need to believe in yourself and hold on your friends and relatives.
