But one thing that you'll have to take care of when attempting to lose weight is a strict control on your dietary habits. No oily, fatty foods. A strict avoidance of all kinds of soft drinks and beer. You should be on a vegetarian diet as far as possible and eat only fresh fruits and veggies as far as possible. Eat low calorie and high protein, vitamin and minerals based foodstuff only.

As far as the weight training exercises are concerned, they too help to burn massive amounts of calories in the body, but should always be done in tandem with cardio based exercises for the best and long lasting effect on the body.
