Eat Less Food For Weight Loss?

What do most people do when they figure out that they have put on a few pounds? The first thing they decide to do is to eat less food than they normally do. It sounds like a reasonable solution does it not? It would seem that it was food that got us overweight in the first place, would this not be a reasonable solution to the problem?

Your Body Automatically Lowers Your Metabolism

Almost all diet and eating plans say pretty much the same thing as this. Unfortunately, for folks that believe lowering their normal daily food intake will aid them in losing weight, this does not work. As one decreases their food intake, the body does an extraordinary thing, the body will actually compensate for the difference in caloric intake by scaling back your metabolism. In other words, your body will lower the amount of energy that it produces and will also limit it's capacity for effort. Your body does this by instinct to thwart starvation. Why do you thing that people can go for a month with only water as their food source? The body conserves energy when there is little or no food.

Best Way To Attain Weight Loss

One of the best ways to attain your weight loss goals is to eat smart instead of eating less. Heavier and overweight people in general eat the same number of calories per day that thinner people. But, overweight people generally eat more fat than thinner people. Thinner people seem to prefer a complex carbohydrate diet, which are more easily metabolized by the body. This seems to be the main difference between these two groups and a good place to begin when planning a change in your eating pattern.

A Good Weight Loss Diet Takes Time

A good diet will always take time to produce results. That extra weight was not put on overnight, why would we think we could take it off overnight? Every day thousands and thousands of people are scouring the internet for a "miracle" diet cure, a pill that will vanquish fat once and for all, a patch that will make them not want to eat, an oral spray that will kill appetite. The list goes on and on. As we discussed above, your appetite is not your problem. What you eat when you have an appetite is.

Lose The Weight For Good

There is only one way to lose weight for good, and that is to avoid eating rich, fatty foods, and to get some exercise on a regular basis. Trying to diet without exercise is almost a pointless exercise in futility. Exercising just makes us feel better, no to mention, by exercising while dieting, the weight will come off much faster than it will without exercise. This is always good for an extra "kick in the pants" about continuing your diet. Remember, losing weight is not about eating less, as much as it is about eating more of the healthy low fat foods.

There are so many information on how to lose weight easily and quickly. You have to be very careful which source information you should trust, because 80% of people don't want to help you at all. In this article I will go through the weight loss mental preparation which is required for every successful weight loss program.

If you are a person, who wants to lose weight you should first of all start from a goal. Every person who wants to achieve something should start from a specific goal, where he will describe what results he wants to achieve and how long will it take. In your case its weight loss and you should make yourself a goal, which would sound like "By the 23rd of June I will weigh seventy kilograms". Once you will set yourself a goal, you will lose the wanted amount of weight more easily, because you will how many kilograms you have to lose in a certain amount of time.

I personally think that this is the foundation of everything and once you have set yourself a goal you can move on. The second tip is to burn way more calories than you consume. If everyone could do this properly, everyone would have a perfect body, but the reality is that we can't burn more than we consume so successful weight loss experts try find their "perfect contrast" between how many calories they consume and how many calories they burn. Remember that effective weight loss workout starts from a goal and a plan.

In my opinion, person who has good mindset for weight loss, will lose weight quicker than a person who only goes to gym and does nothing more about his weight.

How To Shed Pounds FAST Without Dieting And Be Your Healthiest You Have Ever Been!

As a middle aged (being in your 50s is now middle aged) mother of two and grandmother of two, weight gain has continually been an issue. Through the years I have tried all kinds of diets, looking to get rid of unwanted weight gain as the years progressed. Just about all of the diets worked while I was on them, but once I stopped the diet, the weight gain came back within a few months.

When I looked at my family tree, weight gain didn't seem to be a big issue. I was large boned and without exercise, had a propensity for gaining weight. My jobs have always been jobs that required sitting and working at a computer. In college I was a phys ed major, the captain and co-captain of the swim team and synchronized swim team. I played squash, racquet ball and ran 5 miles a day. According to the University of West Virginia swim team, I was such a hottie that they gave me a trophy for having the best behind.

Now, in my middle aged years, I could win two trophies because my best behind has now doubled in size! I now need two knee replacements, have several rare and menacing diseases that are causing other health problems, and because of these, I am unable to exercise like before. I have been trying to find out how to shed pounds fast without dieting and exercising and regain my health. I still don't eat alot but the pounds and bloated feelings are still there in spite of my best efforts to eat healthier and lesser amounts.

My only vice is chocolate and even that is of little interest to me, but the lack of exercise, the inability to lose weight by dieting and my sedentary lifestyle demands a better answer.

I have come across several articles lately about losing weight fast without having to diet. I read them with interest and thought they deserved some merit.
