Is There A Safe Way To Lose Weight In A Week?
Perhaps the only way to lose weight in a week is to do a series of colonics. Seriously! Once each day. It is very likely that you have at least five pounds of fecal matter in your intestines.
However, the best way to lose weight and keep it off permanently is to make small changes to your lifestyle. Here are three strategies you can use to lose weight. I'll even send you list of 50 more weight loss strategies and tips.
Avoid Negative Nancy
Very often another's negativity towards your weight loss goals can be very subtle. Watch out for this! For example, others who have a difficult time losing weight may be jealous of your success. Or, maybe someone must does not want you to succeed anyway. These kinds of people can get their way in times when you are week.
If you are trying to give up fatty cookies or are trying to motivate yourself to go out and exercise, then might say something like, "you don't need to exercise today". Or, "go ahead! You can have a cookie". Realize your weaknesses and the kinds of support you think you will. Then, stay away from those non-supportive people when you were feeling weak.
Stay Away From Trans Fats
Trans fats do not only make you fat, but they are also extremely bad for your overall health. Stay away from them at all costs. The problem these days is that trans fats are so unpopular the most foods do not contain them. The problem is we consumers have gotten lazy and now stop checking for foods that contain them.
Get used to reading the food label on everything you eat. When reading the label, look for the ingredient 'hydrogenated oil'.
Competition Has Its Limits
Do not compare yourself to others in a way that makes you feel you are a failure. Competition helps us sometimes. You may find it useful to compete with someone in losing weight. Or, you may get some motivation out of follow the lead of someone you admire, like a mentor.
However, you want to be careful not to let this backfire on you. Your friend can avoid eating fattening ice cream but you can't. You can beat yourself up for stuff like this, but it will not help you in the least. Eat your fatty ice cream if you need to.
Just remember that you have an overall goal of losing weight. If you want to eat forbidden foods once in a while, then you will have to climb a few more steps that day or run an extra 20 minutes.
